Award winning V40 The Duchess, evolved with valve-driven spring reverb and tremolo, in a 1x12" widebody combo with a Celestion G12H-75 Creamback.
V40 Deluxe lives up to its name in stunning cream vinyl over traditional wooden cabinet with leather corners and handle for a modern-boutique look. You can expect classic American cleans through to pushed tweedy grit and on to driven British blues-rock.
Choose between 1x12" combo or head amp cab. This is one for the 'feel' players: a boutique-standard tone machine for home, studio and stage.
Cabinet use pine for top, sides and bottom, with ply back sections and 12-degree up-angled speaker baffle. After extensive blind listening comparisons, the H-magnet Creamback 75 came out top as the speaker that best delivers V40 Deluxe’s rootsy-boutique tones. Compared with V40 The Duchess, V40 Deluxe has slightly more brightness and ‘air’ overall.
A switch under the rear panel offering a low-power mode for around 7 watts. This works brilliantly for home and studio use. The hard-bypassable effects loop enables you to use delays, reverbs etc after the preamp section of the amp to keep them clean sounding.

I spent only a limited time with this beauty but it sounds fantastic. It's fendery in Voice I setting and a little bit more mids in Voice II. The tone pots are very usable and the volume and master pots are also very usable and sounds great at all settings. This amp is quite clean, be you have a mid kick switch which adds a bit more grit to it. And the amp loves pedals! A very good pedal platform amp. Comes with footswitch for reverb and tremolo. These two sound phenomenal. You van hear your guitar in a band context very clearly through this amp and the sounds are not so " in the face" but also cut through the mix. It's like magic :) And comes with a simple cover too which is more like a dust cover without any cushioning.
