Ingrained with purebred Jackson DNA, ultra-fast playability and unbelievable value, the WRX24 features a 25.5” scale length, resonant poplar body and through-body maple neck with scarf joint and graphite reinforcement for solid stability that guards against climate and humidity changes. Hosting 24 jumbo frets and distinctive sharkfin inlays, the 12”-16” compound radius bound laurel fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. Jackson® high-output humbucking bridge and neck pickups deliver an expansive voice loaded with full-bodied tone with tight bass and plenty of crunch and harmonics. The WRX24 also has single volume and tone controls, three-way pickup toggle switching and a Floyd Rose® Special double-locking tremolo bridge system for superior string stability and dynamic tremolo action.
Laurel is a medium hard wood with a warm brown tone and fine texture. It provides a well-balanced tone with a softer response, contributing to a comfortable playing experience. The Laurel fingerboard is an affordable alternative to more expensive woods, while offering good stability and a pleasing appearance.
Poplar is a medium-light wood that produces a well-balanced tone with an emphasis on the mid-range and soft bass. It has a smooth and neutral tonal characteristics. This makes it a versatile material for a wide range of musical styles. Poplar is often used for its affordability and consistent tonal characteristics.
The satin finish is popular for its ability to combine the properties of both a glossy and matte finish. This type of finish provides a soft sheen, less intense than gloss but more pronounced than matte. This creates a smooth to touch, lightly reflective surface which gives an elegant and sophisticated appearance. The satin finish is ideal for those looking for a balance between visual appeal and convenience, as it can hide small imperfections and fingerprints better than glossy surfaces.
The humbucker-humbucker configuration means that the guitar is equipped with two humbucker pickups. It offers a powerful, full sound with high output and low noise, ideal for rock and metal.
Maple is known for its strength and stability, making it ideal for necks that need to resist bending and warping.
