The Jackson X Series Dinky DK3XR M HSS provides a superior performance experience with features and appointments for the price-conscious musician.
The DK3XR M HSS features a nyatoh body with sculpted shredder's cut heel for quick access to the upper frets and a bolt-on maple neck with satin back finish for reduced playing fatigue, as well as scarf joint and graphite reinforcement for stability against climate changes and environmental duress. Featuring rolled edges, 24 jumbo frets and inverted black sharkfin inlays, the 12"-16" compound radius maple fingerboard is the ideal platform for heavy chording and fast, ripping solos.
Routed for an HSS configuration, the DK3XR M is loaded with a select power trio of Jackson pickups. The Jackson high-output humbucking pickup was painstakingly voiced for full, rich tone with maximum overdrive and sustain, while the Jackson single-coil middle and neck pickups deliver that tried-and-true Strat sound. Explore this instrument's sonic palette with a five-way blade switch and single volume and tone controls, and dive bomb at will with reliable tuning stability from the Jackson-branded Floyd Rose-licensed double-locking tremolo bridge system.
The glossy finish gives any surface an elegant and luxurious look. This type of finish is achieved by applying several layers of lacquer or resin, which are then polished to a high gloss. This provides a smooth, reflective finish, enhancing color and structure of substrate. The glossy finish not only improves aesthetics, but also protects against dust, moisture and minor scratches.
The humbucker-single-coil-single-coil configuration means that the guitar is equipped with one humbucker pickup and two single-coil pickups. This combination offers a powerful and full tone from the bridge humbucker, along with bright and crisp sounds from the single-coil pickups, giving you a wide range of tonal possibilities, ideal for a variety of musical styles.
Nyatoh is a medium-weight wood with characteristics similar to mahogany. It offers a warm, round tone with a strong mid-range and good sustain. It is more affordable and is often used as an alternative to more expensive woods. It offers a balanced sound suitable for a wide range of musical styles.
Maple is known for its strength and stability, making it ideal for necks that need to resist bending and warping.
The maple fingerboard is valued for its smoothness and strength, while offering excellent playability and a clear, articulate sound. It is popular for its bright appearance and its ability to maintain accurate and detailed sound while playing.
