The LTD MH Series combines design elements of ESP’s H/Horizon models, like its archtop body, and from the M/Mirage guitars, like its inline headstock and extra-thin U-shaped neck. The result is a guitar that can do no wrong for any style of music. The MH-1000NT features set-thru construction at 25.5” scale, allowing for smooth and fast access to the highest frets. It offers a mahogany body with flamed maple top, finished in a translucent Charcoal burst finish to allow the figured wood to be a highlight, with white binding on the body, neck, and reversed headstock. The MH-1000NT has a sturdy thin U-shaped three-piece maple neck, and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with offset block inlays and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. Black hardware and components on this excellent guitar include a TonePros locking TOM bridge with string thru body, LTD locking tuners, and a set of direct-mounted Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups (ceramic in the bridge and alnico in the neck), with push-pull control to select voicings and black nickel covers to match this guitar’s outstanding aesthetics. Each pickup offers two voices.
The humbucker-humbucker configuration means that the guitar is equipped with two humbucker pickups. It offers a powerful, full sound with high output and low noise, ideal for rock and metal.
Mahogany is a dense wood that produces a warm, full tone with rich bass and a strong mid-range. It is known for its excellent sustain and resonance, giving it a deep and round sound.
Macassar ebony is a hard, dense wood with a distinctive striped pattern in shades of black and brown. It offers a clear, crisp tone with excellent response and sustain. The Macassar ebony fingerboard is valued for its luxurious appearance and durability. This contributes to the precise playability and longevity of the instrument.
Maple is known for its strength and stability, making it ideal for necks that need to resist bending and warping.
The glossy finish gives any surface an elegant and luxurious look. This type of finish is achieved by applying several layers of lacquer or resin, which are then polished to a high gloss. This provides a smooth, reflective finish, enhancing color and structure of substrate. The glossy finish not only improves aesthetics, but also protects against dust, moisture and minor scratches.
The Superstrat is a type of electric guitar based on the design of the Stratocaster, but modified for a more aggressive style of playing, especially in the hard rock and metal genres. It has a solid body, often with powerful humbucker pickups for a more powerful and distorted sound. Superstrat guitars often have an improved tremolo system (like the Floyd Rose) and a faster neck for technical playing. This type of guitar is designed for the modern guitarist who demands more versatility and performance.
