Dexibell VIVO SX-8 Synthesizer

The features of the enhanced Dexibell T2L (True to Life) technology become advanced with its all-new Quad Core Cortex @ 1.8 GHz processor with 4GB of RAM.

Advanced T2L offers: quadruple processing speed for loading sounds, double onboard memory size, complete customizable control of a new “Organs” section and 9 powerful DSP effects. These are just some of the many innovations of the VIVO SX8 module.

With its beautifully designed ultra-compact aluminum body in an all-new matte black finish, the VIVO SX8 is perfect for desktop, stage, or rack-mounted use, and weights only 2 kg (4.4 lb).

The VIVO SX8 offers Dexibell’s legendary high quality, high resolution acoustic and electric piano sounds and full access to the wide DEXIBELL sound library available for free on Dexibell.com.

The USB “Memory” port supports MIDI protocol, meaning any keyboard, by any manufacturer, can be directly connected via USB without the presence of a computer or interface. The USB “Computer” port can run both MIDI data and digital audio at 24-bit 48 KHz simultaneously.
The VIVO SX8 can be directly connected to your computer to record and play MIDI and AUDIO data simultaneously without the need for an audio interface (*Mac OS and Linux).

Envelope: ADSR

The ADSR (Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release) type envelope filter gives you precise control over the dynamics and shape of your sound. The ADSR components are detailed as follows: Attack: Specifies how quickly the sound reaches its maximum volume upon activation. Decay: Specifies the time it takes for the volume to drop from maximum to sustain. Sustain: Represents a stable volume level that is maintained as long as the sound is active. Release: Specifies how quickly the volume fades to zero after the sound has been released.

LFO: Yes

An LFO, or low frequency oscillator, brings electronic sound to life. It adds movement and interest to synthetic sounds and effects, playing an important role in both subtle synthesis and bold sound design. However, you won't hear the LFO itself because it acts as a modulator. This means that it does not directly affect the audio signal, but adjusts other parameters such as oscillator pitch and filter clipping.

Headphone Output: Yes

The headphone output allows direct connection of headphones for private listening. This output provides a convenient way to enjoy the sound without disturbing others or ambient noise.

MIDI Interface: Yes

It supports MIDI, allowing you to connect and communicate with other MIDI-compatible devices. This feature extends control and integration into the larger music environment, increasing flexibility and creativity in music creation.

Polyphony: Unlimited

The polyphony of this instrument allows up to <%=tp_value % notes to be played simultaneously, providing rich and complex musical possibilities.

Oscillators: Yes

A powerful oscillator system allows users to create rich and variable sound textures. Oscillators can generate a variety of waveforms, including sine, square, triangle, and noise, allowing for creativity and experimentation.

Bluetooth: Yes

Integrated Bluetooth technology enables wireless connectivity and easy pairing with a wide range of compatible devices. This connection method ensures convenient and efficient use without cables, contributing to greater flexibility and ease of use.

Aftertouch: Yes

Aftertouch technology on the keys allows musicians to add a new level of expression to their playing. When a key reaches the bottom of its stroke, the pressure exerted on the key can continue to be sensed and used to control various aspects of the sound, such as vibrato, volume, or tone modulation.

Pedal Inputs: Yes

The pedal input allows you to connect an external pedal that expands the instrument's control capabilities and contributes to a richer musical expression, increasing flexibility and expressiveness when playing and creating music.
