We often ask ourselves the same questions:
"How does a pedal, amp, or accessory differ in importance?
"If we could only pick one piece of gear to take on tour: what would we want it to be?"
The Microtubes Infinity pedal is the answer to this search. Bringing together what it takes to create professional-standard equipment: It's a huge canvas on which every musician can reveal their maximum potential. Designed for those who care about quality, versatility and a robust offering. Without concessions and shortcuts.
Microtubes Infinity shares the footprint of the programmable Darkglass line and features three legendary Microtubes distortion pedals: B3K, Vintage and X.
Plus, it allows for multi-band compression in every mode, mixing impulse responses between distortions, while adding additional controls via the Darkglass suite for endless functionality.
- The Compression Potentiometer is a single circuit solution for compression on Microtubes Infinity. It controls the amount of input gain to the compressor and intelligently applies the correct amount of additional gain so your signal is always tuned to the appropriate level no matter how much compression is used.
- The Drive potentiometer adds distortion and drive to your signal (modes 2-5), or mixes with a tube preamp emulation (mode 1). Turn this knob to add more saturation or character to your distortion/preamp section of the signal chain.
- The Tone-Era knob allows you to go from muted to crisp and anything in between. On the Vintage Microtubes (modes 2 and 4) you get the coveted ERA driver, covering different decades of classic bass tones.
- The Blend potentiometer mixes between the distortion signal and the clean sidechain signal.
- The Level potentiometer controls the master volume of the Microtubes Infinity.
- Each slider has a range of -12 dB to 12 dB. The frequency bands for each slider from left to right correspond to low shelf, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1.5 kHz, 3 kHz and high shelf.
