The SWING is a legend. A living legend. Both in cycling and on the track. The most popular eyewear of the 80s is still here. And rightly so. The unique design, functionality and high lens quality are age-old indicators of quality - and also the recipe for success for each new pair of goggles. The SWING is back as the 5W1NG. The 5W1NG Q has a base lens equipped with the contrast-enhancing, polarising quattroflex technology. With the magnetic CM additional lens, a mirrored lens can be pulled down. This combination guarantees clear, glare-free visibility. With the headband that can be locked into three angles of inclination and malleable nose pads, the 5W1NG can be individually adjusted to the face and for any intended purpose. The 5W1NG’s unique design is polarising, avant garde and inspiring. Simply legendary.
- The optional foam padding converts the 5W1NG into a pair of goggles suitable for the slopes and cross-country skiing.
- Keeps sweat, draughts and cold away from the eyes.
- Individually fit them to your face by adjusting the headband height
- Cold-formable nose pads and temple ends further ensure an optimal fit
100 % UV-A, -B, -C protection
- All Alpina lenses provide 100 % UV-A-, -B-, -C-protection and thus guarantee excellent eye protection.
Ceramic Mirror
- The base material of the lens is ceramic. It is unbreakable, thus providing excellent eye protection.
Cold Flex
- Coldflex is a specific material used on the temple ends of the glasses or on the nose pads. It can be uniquely adapted to the shape of the face or nose. This results in an optimal fit of the glasses.
Fogstop
- All Alpina ski goggles have a Fogstop coating. This is not smooth but rough - on a microscopic level. This prevents moisture from forming a closed layer. So the lens doesn’t fog up and the view remains clear.
Hydrophobic lens
- Hydrophobic is a moisture-repellent nano-structure on the lens that allows water to roll off. Dirt is also transported away. The lens is thus not only clean, but dries faster too.
Mirror
- Mirror is a lens on which multiple reflective layers are applied. They provide protection from harsh glares and infrared light. Mirror is not only the feature of a highly functional lens, it’s an element of style.
Optimized Airflow
- Heavily domed lenses envelop the face perfectly. They protect the eyes from draughts and cold and improve vision. The indirect air flow also prevents the lenses from fogging up.
Polarized
- Glasses with polarised technology have polarising lenses. This means they filter light and only let direct rays of sun through. As a result, distracting reflections and glares are blocked and do not reach the eyes. This makes these glasses an outstanding choice for types of sport in and on the water.
Quattroflex
- Quattroflex is the term for a specially coloured lens in ruby red, which reduces the proportion of blue in visible light. This increases contrasts in the snow, allowing surroundings to be perceived better and more quickly. Thanks to the lens’s brightening effect, the contours and textures of the piste can be perceived better even in poor weather conditions. A polarisation film of highest optical quality built into the lens completes the Quattroflex effect: Distracting scattered light and glares are filtered out and the contrast is also enhanced. Reflections and mirroring are minimised, which allows icy surfaces and dangerous situations to be seen much better.
Spherical Lens
- The Spherical Lens is spherically domed, providing much better panoramic vision. The enlarged volume inside also optimises climate management inside the goggles. Thermoblock and Fogstop effectively prevent the ski goggles from fogging up.
